We have settled the State Wide Language and wages for the Muncie Chapter. We will have a meeting Friday May 25 at 5:30 at the Muncie Hall to determine where the money will go.
Look forward to seeing everyone there!
Activity in the Muncie Chapter has been a bit slow over the winter months. With that being said the membership has still been able to stay fairly busy with work opportunities in the surrounding areas. Going forward things are shaping up to be another good year for man hours. As the temperatures get warmer the work schedules of the jobs are getting closer. Contractors such as Broady-Campbell, Complete Masonry Services, FA Wilhelm, and Hagerman Construction all have work scheduled at this time with more work coming out to bid. There are no major refractory rebuild jobs scheduled at this time, but as always there will be pop up hot work repairs taking place.
In case you haven’t seen yet, I have started using Facebook to help share information about things of interest. Go to “BAC Local 4 In/Ky Muncie Chapter” to like and follow.
Monthly Chapter Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7. As we get closer to summer that time will be earlier. I hope to see many of you there.
The State Apprentice Contest will be April 8 at the Indianapolis Hall. Come out to watch and support our future skilled craftworkers as they compete in this annual contest.
The State Wide Meeting will be April 22nd at the Indianapolis Hall at 10:00 AM.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of the recently deceased- Bob Leckron, Mike Hodson, and David Dishon.
